As the saying goes “All good things must come to an end” and so it was that last Friday wrapped up a great week of Linaro Connect Asia 2014 in Macau. The final day started off with a keynote from Linaro’s Chief Technical Officer, David Rusling (view on Linaro server). David spoke about his vision for the future of Linaro and where he sees the industry moving to down the road.

Following David’s keynote the last of the week’s sessions began. There were a number of sessions that took place on Friday covering topics such as generic TrustZone® solutions, ION upstreaming, Android upstreaming, OpenJDK performance evaluation and Comparative analysis of preemption vs. preempt-rt to name a few. All of the available presentations and videos from the Friday sessions are listed below.

After lunch we once again held the rapid summaries by the teams for the week’saccomplishments. This was a big hit at LCU13 and gave all the attendees a chance to see what each team had been doing for the week and what was completed. Due to the limited time each team was given to present their summaries it fostered some very creative presentations.  Once the rapid summaries ended the awards started. During each Linaro Connect we take a moment to recognize those individuals and/or teams that are making tremendous contributions to Linaro. Below are some of our winners.

Finally, what better way to finish off the week than to have a Technology Showcase of Linaro based demos. This was an exciting event that gave the teams a chance to demonstrate what they had been working on. Those attending were treated to snacks and drinks while they walked around and viewed the demos. It was great way to end a fun-filled week of learning, socializing and hacking.
