Background

Two threads:

  1. Graduated 1997, straight into a job writing device drivers/filesystems/management interfaces/everything for Plasmon, a storage company. Moved on from that in 2005 to Amino, a company developing Linux-based set top boxes on multiple different architectures. Joined ARM in March 2010 in the newly-formed PDSW group, initially concentrating on ChromeOS.
  2. Started working on Free Software in 1995 when in college, became a Debian developer in 1996 working on a wide variety of packages. Elected Debian Project Leader 2008-2009 and again 2009-2010, now taking more of a back seat. Still involved in the release process, responsible for producing the CD/DVD/Bluray images.
