Background

I am with the semiconductor division of Samsung since 2003 and have been working in the area of multimedia (audio, video and image) - integration of hardware codecs, optimization and development of components and framework for multimedia playback and recording on platforms including Linux, Symbian and Android on various Samsung SoC platforms (based on ARM core). I was part of the design and development team to deliver high performance multimedia solutions for mobile applications utilising the hardware capabilities provided by Samsung SOCs to end customers (both internal and external to Samsung).
