Background
I worked more than 10 years at SourceForge.net at various positions like Support Engineer, Application Engineer, J2EE Developer, with exposure to OpenSource community management, support and lifecycle matters and wide array of technologies like heterogeneous (cross-language, multiple data sources), high-load, high-availability systems, migrating legacy systems and datasets, automated unit and integration testing, etc. I also co-maintained Handhelds.org kernel port and OpenEmbedded.org distribution support for ARM-based WindowsCE/WindowsMobile PDAs and phones, working towards bringing Linux support to widely available consumer ARM hardware. I join as an Android Build/Infrastructure Engineer, with premise that Android already offers great value for both industry and consumers, and provides path for further Linux adoption and support on ARM devices.
