Matthew Gretton-Dann Tech LeadARM

Background

I have worked in ARM since March 2003, initially on their proprietary toolchain, but in January 2010 I joined the internal GNU Tools team as Tech Lead for 32-bit GNU Tools. I have worked on optimizations for various Cortex-A processors from A8 onwards, and have also been involved in debug information generation and developing ABIs for both the 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. Prior to ARM I worked in a variety of companies, where I did a variety of things, including: the (at the time) largest geographic database data-load in Europe; and version control software for the building industry.
