ARM Landing Team

Background
I am normally known by my nickname 'Tixy' which I picked up when at university from the name of my character in MUD. I got involved with computers during the personal computer boom of the early eighties and spent time hacking in assembler and with a soldering iron. The first decade of my career was spent with a small local company doing games programming for 8-bit computers and then for PCs. I then joined Symbian, not long after it was formed, and spent most of my decade there in the kernel team where I ended up specialising in memory management. I had started using and playing with Linux at home so when I left Symbian I decided that was where my interests lay. After spending 6 months volunteering with Linaro's kernel working group I was very pleased to join the ARM landing team.
