James Elliott

Background

Starting as a hardware development engineer, I’ve been involved in embedded software development since 1998. I’ve developed products for the military radar, postal and single board computer markets, using processors from Intel, Motorola, Hitachi and Samsung. I enjoy working with firmware, hardware, mechanical, and production engineers, as well as helping the non-techies in sales and marketing.  Before joining Linaro, I performed team / project management roles for Pitney Bowes, and developed firmware for Neopost, Concurrent Technologies, and Marconi Radar. I enjoy multi-national environments, having worked with remote teams in France, China, the US and India, whilst supporting customers throughout Europe.
