Background
After graduating with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, I spent the first 10 years of my career working on military and telecom communication systems. Over that time I worked on many different operating systems, and in particular got involved with Linux on PowerPC kernel development. In 2005 I ventured out on my own and started Secret Lab Technologies, a small contract engineering and consulting company specializing in embedded Linux. Since January 2011 I've been working with Linaro to define a boot architecture for Linux on ARM. I'm also currently the maintainer of the Device Tree, GPIO, and SPI subsystems in the Linux kernel, and a member of the Linux Foundation Technical Advisory Board (TAB).
