Coming from a strong back ground in embedded systems where I had been working as a security software engineer on FIPS140-2 certified smartcards I joined Wolfson. At Wolfson I worked on early implementations of ASoC. Responsible for the ASoC implementation of the s3c CPU family and a number of codec drivers. Wolfson allowed me to maintain ALSA within Openembedded. I also worked on drivers for Openmoko. Leaving Wolfson I joined Openmoko to work on their distribution in Opembedded and maintain the audio driver. When Openmoko closed I joined Slimlogic where I was involved in many interesting projects, working with PMICs, audio, openembedded and Graphics. Notable projects include, working on early implementation of Ubuntu graphics stack on omap4. Working with TI to produce and support opensource drivers for the PhoenixLite, Palmas, and TPS6591X PMICs. Working with Elphel to port their custom software stack to Openembedded. Outside of official work I work on Openembedded and Ångström.
