Antonio Terceiro

Background

Antonio has been involved with free software since the early 2000s, acting on both software development and advocacy. A retired conference organizer, he served as program chair for 3 editions of Porto Alegre's International Free Software Forum. As a developer, he participates in projects such as Debian, Foswiki and Noosfero. His interest in both development and systems administration helps him with designing systems that are robust and well factored. In paralell with free software advocacy and development, Antonio has also acted as a Software Engineering researcher, studying the relationship between human factors and software design. He obtained his PhD on Computer Science from UFBA in 2012.
